Great colour and what a great subject, I thought Thor was the god of thunder not lightning. Most flowers would quake in terror in such a storm.

Well, Mark, I know you know these flowers better than I do, but are you SURE this is a male? It does look suspiciously like a flower performing as Brunhilde in Wagner's "Ring" cycle! I guess if it bursts into song, you'll have your answer!
