I wish I had more stars to give you. I just love the detail work you do. The wavy hair, his expression, the wrinkles in his shirt sleeve all excellent. Your drawings to me look like photographs. I have to keep looking at them closely to convince myself they are not. As always wonderful, superb job! Can't wait for the next one.

Despite the lack of strong contrast being evident, at least in the image I am viewing, I like this creation quite a lot. Why? Because its message is subtle and hidden behind a liquor bottle, so that when a judgmental person, as most persons tend to be unless they learn better from the school of hard knocks, see this work they think: ¨Wow, what is that silly woman doing in portraying a drunken angel?¨Then after viewing and realizing they now have egg all over their face, they will turn away from the image thinking, ¨Gee, that Linda is one subtle artista!¨ I really her spirit! :) very effective drawing, eh?

Oliver, what do you mean by lack of strong contrast? I would love for you to explain. I love your insight about the intension and purpose of this drawing. It was just a thought that I put into my art. An angel getting his orders from God like a message in a bottle. I appreciated your review, but I don't understand about the contrast.

Okay, you make a valid point and here is how I would respond: your blacks aren´t black enough, i.e. they need to be black as coal, black as a pitch dark night. I am sorry Linda, but I don´t see any pitch darkness in this work... if that is because of the quality of the photograph you made, then I would suggest you make another photograph that has more contrast in it. Does that make sense or do you think I´m just whistling Dixie?

I just use regular sketching paper. I can't remember the brand name. I am almost out of paper, so I don't have the cover of the tablet. Thank you for your wonderful review.
