My review/critique of your work will be broken down into two parts; the technical and the esthetics aspects of the work. Each aspect will carry the same amount of weight in rating the piece presented. A piece will not be awarded a 5 rating if it has a flaw in either category or in the case of a contest entry fails to meet the contest requirements.

Technical: I will say that you know your media, your use of the colored marker is easily seen in this image. With limited colors you have created a very nice image. Your use of the warm and cool colors have added depth and perspective to the composition.

Aesthetics: a fun image, your imagination comes through in the layout of the characters and how they are interacting, as does your humor in this image. The subjects and the choice of colors makes for a fun image. The composition flows and the expression on various characters make it fun to look at and laugh with. Nicely done.
I may have added another shades of blue to the sky and another shade of red in the birds to add a little more variety to the piece resoectively; but that is me, the image still works very well.

Whoa penmaster! What an awsome review..i guess my use of limited color sometimes goes back in the 1st couple decades playing with sharpies then. The brand only offered red, blue, green and black...i did try to intergrate watercolors and other ink brands but didnt work very well..then i discovered bic would work perfectly together..im so honored in ur detail review and thank u so much..(bowing)
