At first look, this appeared to be a painting, so I stopped to view! To my surprise, it was not, has a very soft look about it, then I read your notes regarding the 'oil painting filter' which I don't know anything about, but imagine it gave it this more painterly look! The cat on the steps is in the shade in the daylight, but casting absolutely no type of shadow at all which almost gives it the appearance of being cut out and pasted on-very visually intriguing! Needless to say, I enjoyed the variety of textures and surfaces immensely, the old door is a visual bonus! Love it! jean

Very very nice, beautiful shot and I love the texture of the building well composed picture where did you get the kitty cat model enhances the shot I think Nice detail in the photo and dof is great

Great entry for this contest and certainly a unique set of stairs. Must have been a building behind the door at one time but now gone. Really like the white cat on the stairs which adds a real bonus to this photo. Excellent and should be a top contender for the contest.
