A really wonderful shot that is really well done. Great pick for the contest and I'm expecting a first place win. Captures the mood for summer really well. Great work here!

Thanks for the great review and vote of confidence!

I think going low key was the way to go with this work! Rather than struggle with a bright sky, you used it to your advantage! I like the diagonal lines --- all leading to the kids having fun on the swings. Nice colors in this as well... good luck in the contest!

I absolutely love this picture! I tried this summer to get my kids in a similar shot, but was not happy with any of them. This is perfect, the exposure and the bright sky, the detail in the chains of the swing stand out so nice and the colours of the kids compliment nicely with each other! Great shot!!

Well you may make you feel younger, it makes me feel dizzy! LOL Love the natural High Key you made, it is simply awesome. The combination of the colorful clothing on the kids against that background is photographic genius! This is why I save my 6's like a squirrel.

The high-key effect works perfectly, making this 'state fair' shot different to any other I've seen. Your unique approach has paid off wonderfully. Although you adjusted your exposure, you managed to preserve contrasts and all the moving details sharp. It's too bad you couldn't capture their facial expressions tho - I think we'd get a whole range of happiness and excitement! :D
Great idea and wonderful realization! :) Thumbs up on thinking differently.

Thanks for another amazing review. I have been avoiding face on shots of kids. There has gotten to be a host of legal/ethical issues of shots where a minor can be recognized. If they can be recognized one needs to get the parent to sign a "model release" in order to avoid problems down the road.
What a Country we live in.
Thanks again for your kind review!

Fantastic fun in High Key. The capture against the sun worked to your favor in post adjustments. Great movement and line over the frame. The onlything that would make this better is if we could see those facial expressions. Great job on the post work, you achieved your goal! Thanks for sharing. Good Luck!

Thanks for the review. In our photo club we have been warned about taking photos of children where they can be recognized. If so you need the parents to sign a "model release". Just a heads up to avoid any issues later.
