A very nice soft subject. It seems to me that the sharp detail would not be particularly appropriate for this subject, but who knows? The colors are beautiful and the cropping is excellent. Best of luck in the voting.

Overall I like the photo. The dark heads of the Stamen against the soft, yellow petals is a nice stark contrast. While for the most part, the focus is pretty sharp, allowing a real sense of the texture of the petals. However, when you look at the center of the flower, the focus isn't as sharp. With the Stamen in the foreground you can see stem clearly, but toward the back, you loose that sharpness. At first glance it looks like the dark brown heads are just sprinkled on the flower. The light color of the stems perhaps blend too much with the petals and maybe the light too strong on that part of the flower, but I think being able to distinguish the stems would make this a more dramatic photo.
