Great colors and the most perfect detail. I love the expression on the aged fellow's face. The joy tells the whole story. Thanks for sharing.

Art full of vibrancy....great colours. Nice lines. Good placement. Could be nice with more sense of motion...a little low contrast to the back of hills and road to give the impression of the depth of field. The moon works really well to balance against the telegraph poles. Keeps everything in intact. Great work

Hey, I'm glad your happy with it. But you did put this up for review. Which is what i did. If you don't want opinions....why post?. Old cartoons?. Isnt this a cartoon?

Don't be pissy I'm not upset over ur review. Ur the only one who seems to have an issue. Over the many decades I still find it comical that the folks like ur self think because the medium is in ink u automatically think its a.cartoon. just keep one old saying in mind..one man's trash is another's treasure. So if u don't like it ask me if I care? No matter if u only gave 1 star I thank u for those extra points u just gave me to work to be #1 in the rankings..evil grin

Your funny. I couldn't care less about the rankings. You shouldn't either. It doesn't stand for a single thing...except a little digital trophy & the ego boost which obviously fascinates you.

Also...i'm not being pissy in the slightest...your just another member that can't handle any form of advice or criticism...Sadly i've seen it happen on so many occasions here....everyone gets so used to 5/6 stars & repeated comments....that when someone doesn't auto award stars or offers anything in the way of advice or criticism....they gets their backs up & start the belittering process.

And please....before you refer to me as "Someone who thinks that when a medium is in ink...its a cartoon". Learn a little about me...When i was younger....i won many contests for art, design & also comic/satire sketches. I have a very good understanding of art..... What's funny is your contradiction....

Cartoon: A cartoon is a form of two-dimensional illustrated visual art. While the specific definition has changed over time, modern usage refers to a typically non-realistic or semi-realistic drawing or painting intended for satire, caricature, or humor, or to the artistic style of such works. An artist who creates cartoons is called a cartoonist

No ur funny I took ur bs comment replied and moved on..ur the one who has that panties in the was thinking ur telling me something.. U have mine stuff awarded and TV..so what. I made the comment that no matter u put on the for stars and piss and like ur the gods gift to art it still doesnt hurt me or my standings..(whispering) if u really want to teach me a lesson u could just not review my stuff at all...oh yeah that will show..beside s after it long winded speech I hate to tell ya I'm just fresh out medals or gold stars to give ya cause it sounds like that u fishing for... Really I'm not impress..u have a great day! Evil grin

Wow! Such depth, emotion and sense of movement is seen in this piece. Love the rich colors and all the creativity that went into this. You can feel his excitement as seen on his face, so superbly illustrated by you. Well done.

It's hard to look at this and not smile. This wiser gentleman looks like he is truly enjoying himself. The hill representation is nice and his hair against the night sky is stunning.
