What a lovely flower. I love the little blossoms. So simple and yet so elegant. This is a wonderful photograph of a wonderful flower. The green leaves really bring out the white of the blossoms.

Holy Gooseneck Loosestrife Doc!
I like the Greek origin of the word Loosestrife= undo battle
I am very pleased and impressed with your white balance control on the whites. Your focus is sharp where it needs to be and soft where it compliments the shot artistically.
If you had an editing program which I know you do not, I would have liked a more soften background. That said, you are one I am always in awe of because you have to have good camera techs in order to get these beautiful captures.
Great Focus, exposure, details, clarity and placement within the frame.
I do hope you have the purple ones as well.

The Greeks actually believed that branches of Lysimachia could calm quarreling ... Isn't that interesting? Should have included that little tidbit in my notes. I had yellow LYSIMACHIA which I ruthlessly yanked out for 2-3 seasons until it was gone. Have never had the purple variety of Gooseneck although I have several places where I'd like to paint in that color...so maybe next season. Added nothing new this year. Big smile reading your review. It's nice having my work appreciated so thank you so much for checking it out....and for the wonderful review.

Deb! What a beautiful shot and the commentary is very nice. You nailed so many details, the curvy line of the blossoms is fantastic. The soft green background is not overwhelming and you cropped it perfectly. Great job with DoF and showing us the centers of the flowers. Nothing to improve on here. Sharon/Bea226

A beautiful shot. The composition is first rate. I like the leaves in the background as well as the delicate spray of flowers. The colors are excellent and the shallow depth of field is most attractive.

This is a beautiful image of this plant. I like the composition which almost has a golden ratio look to it. Focus is where it needs to be. I am guessing that you intended for the shallower depth of field to draw the eye to the most interesting part of the flower.

Nice and sharp, great exposure and colour.

How beautiful you composed this, I never saw a flower in this special form , your angle and position reflect very well the form of this bloom , fantastic focus, excellent contrast and lighting, , DOF and exposure are perfect
I think this is a wonderful well balanced and harmonious image with a touch of natural magic as this bloom is at about to show us all states of evolution in one single bloom , well seen, well composed, well done
