I really like this photo. I love beach scenes as they are very calming and this one has that effect. I like that the hill is in part of the photo as it gives it some depth. You can feel the vastness of the beach and ocean in this shot.

I like the overall composition of this scene. It is vast and open, giving the appearance of a place of solitude and peace. The hill sopping from the left is a nice framing element. The horizon cutting exactly through the center of the scene could have been offset either by cropping a tab bit is the sky and thus making the deserted beach seem even more so. Overall a very well done scene ~ Steve
