Oh my av....not a flower in sight here is there!!
Wonderful job explaining the mythical Medusa and amazing job creating her out of a simple portrait of a woman. Those colorful 'scales' you have added to her.....the snake hair. I very much like the blue snake above her head...the blue one in front I cannot quite decide on....the others all seem to be naturally a part of her.
The background you've chosen behind her is perfect too....it looks almost like a very large coiled snake....lol...well of course. Just realized that that is probably exactly what you were going for. Love the eyes too.
A very creative piece av....definitely a different side of the gentle flower poster!!

An interesting artwork to present medusa's character. I like her eyes made red. They go together with the snakes. The image is clear.
Well done and thanks for sharing.

Wow! This is a definite work of mythological mastery! You have expanded into that mysterious area not only in your subject...but in your color scheme and light and shadows. I think this will be appealing to many fine artists here on FAR and beyond! There is so much to see here that I could go on and one about what I like and how you have positioned certain textures and colors....such as the blue over the right eye and not the left... or the 'vampire red' beneath both eyes! And of course the "V" widows peak!...variety of snake skins, etc. etc. Awesome Annie!!! I like it very much!
