Wow! I've haven't seen creations like this in quite a long time already!
I like the 3-dimensional rendition of the circular fruits--its detailed features and smooth textures.
The diminishing perspective leads the viewer's focal attention to the cute verdant grapes.
The darkened backdrop pops out the subjects aesthetically with the aid of the subtle illumination.
Harmonious colors depicts the superb lighting effect on the shiny peel. The letterbox framing works so well here.
Brilliant fantabulous masterpiece!
This should be in the March 2017 Challenge comp!

This is beautiful, Cleo! A framer for sure!! Did you create the still life before your painted it? The arrangement is lovely. Your colors are stunning and your light and shadows are subtle, yet pertinent in highlighting certain parts of the fruit. Love the black bg too!! Beautiful!!

Yes I set a similar still life up on a table next to a window, but had so substitute some of the fruit because I did not have them all at the same time. I made some scratches on paper. Than transferred the scratch to the computer and painted the fruits when I had natural models. The most complicated this time was the texture of the peach skin.
