I get to see these beauties once and a while at the Wetlands and it is such a treat! They have such gorgeous colors.
Love the softness, alert eye and the soft grass that surrounds him.
Beautiful digital Painting that still impresses me that can be done using program and filters.

Thank you very much for your encouraging review. It is indeed done in a program, but I did not used any filters our layers. It is all painted with brushes.

Thank you very much for this especially encouraging review. Use the help section. There are a few artists on the site who use the program, you might ask them. The ArtRage is a program which need lots of experimenting with it. I know it needs time and patience to learn about all the features, but it is great program which does more than the Introduction movies show.

The colors in this painting are charming. I love the simplicity of the piece. Having just a few blades of grass in front of the bird is a good way of creating some depth. The background colors are gentle and create a sense of peace. Lovely work!

Thank you very much for you review. The 'illusion of brushstrokes is created on a touch pad similar to real brush strokes. Those strokes are electronically changed into signals which are send and stored in the computer and then changed into the digital painting.
