Another stunning work of digital art, Cleo. Wow! The colors are gentle and yet vibrant...with a limited palette with a variety of strengths in your chosen colors. I love all of these colors. The blue of the water is perfection. And I like that bit of yellow that you have added to the center of the flower.
Your success at capturing the sunlight and water reflecting on these leaves is phenomenal. You have brought this scene to life in a digital painting. Amazing.... Thanks for sharing! A pleasure as always!

Not really up on how digital art works but think you have achieved a beautiful work with this water lily and very comprehensive notes. Like the blending of colors to provide a lovely pastel pink of the flower :) Mary

Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging review. There are many kinds of Digital Art, I guess nobody really is up to all the new features and possibilities which are invented frequently. I just paint Like I would on canvas, but move my tools with my finger on a touch pad. :o)

A wonderful, carefully and daintily composed piece, done with great precision and with brilliant detail and depth also, with a nice 3D effect to it with the flower visibly rising higher than the pads. The colours are soft and great for the piece, and represent it well - nice work, well done! :)

Thank you very much for your kind comments, but I did not turn a photo into an artwork. A photo alike does not exist.
I scratched the Lotus in in pencil at our botanical garden and painted it digitally using my pencil scratches as reference.
If you have doubts I can provide my traditional scratches on paper. :o)

I thought all the while that these are photos turned into paintings...sorry! No doubts. At least I know now!

I always paint, I never turn photos into paintings. That would be mixed media photography, not digital art.
Sometimes I use photos as reference beside my scratches, but only as reference. :o)

Cleo, the site had stopped me from posting, reviewing & communicating thru emails...
I was told by Regina to ask for Tom's consideration but he only gave me a few days after the notification...
She told me she'll help me as soon as our foundation funding will be released...
I believe in her as I spent all my savings traveling looking for lots in faraway mountains for our foundation site...and I'm jobless for almost a year now!

I have paid the fees member fees for Regina, but I am am not rich. I am not able to do any more. Sorry.
