Your colors are brilliant and saturated deeply. Mixing paints is an art all its own. I like your choices here.
Your details are successfully accomplished without solid lines...proving an artistic hand with your brushes. The same is proven with your treatment of light and shadows on the skin. Well done. And just what is the old master's technique for painting eyes that follow the viewer? You certainly accomplished that.
I like your style of sharp details and vibrant colors and a simple subject that is very well done. Thanks for sharing...and again..thanks for your thorough notes. A pleasure to view.

Thank you very much for such a detailed review. I have a few more paintings to post before I give it up about the old masters. Just as a suspense thing. In reality, it is incredibly difficult for me to achieve. I don't know if you can find it online. I have not yet found it. I discovered it by studying many, many, many paintings.

While I accept that all Greek goddesses are probably beautiful, I do question whether they had blonde hair and blue eyes. :-) This is a lovely portrait but it tells me nothing about the subject except that she is beautiful. I do look forward to seeing the rest of the set.
