Beautiful capture, Deborah, of this lovely shrub Rose in your garden as the sun goes down. You could almost imagine it's a ballerina dancing in the dark. Excellent lighting and focus. The petals look ethereal. Really lovely composition. Suzanne

awww...thank you so much Suzanne....what a wonderful review...especially your comment re: the ethereal look of the petals. I could see exactly that as I was photographing these blossoms so it is really nice to have you see the same thing. I so appreciate you having a look at this piece and sharing a gold star w/ it. Thank you again.

...and thank YOU Paul for having a look at my new piece. I have images galore of my gardens this season....many of them in a folder titled 'To Look Over' lol .... once the road is done, the wood shed is full and the gardens put to bed for another season but I KNEW this image here was a keeper as I was photographing it so thank you for the wonderful review you've given it. I always appreciate your thoughts on one of my pieces.

Elegant and very artfully captured. The low lighting gives the white petals a glow. The dark background helps pop the bloom. Great cropping and upside down perspective is very clever.

Oh I didn't flip it Gary...some of them actually grow that way on the bush...pretty cool isn't it! Thank you so much for checking it out and absolutely LOVE having the word 'elegant' associate w/ one of my pieces.....seriously! Thank you!

Quite a nice bloom shot presented here! Your full and central composition captures a rather unusual downward droop! Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

This is such a beautiful shot of,the rose. The background really makes the flower pop.
The petals give me a feeling of softness as rose petals do feel.
I love the small detail you captured in the dark green leaves. Remarkable photo
And yes, flowers always will
Photograph better on a cloudy day or at sundown.
Love your work

Another new name Malmax....to me anyway. Welcome to FAR. I often photograph my flowers after dark. It gives the ones that are unobtrusive during the day the opportunity to glow at night.....and this guy sure does. Thank you so much for having a look and I do appreciate the really lovely review you've given it.

Right! lol Oh and I will for sure check out 'toxic green' piece and see what else of yours I might have missed these past several weeks.

Love the lighting, looks cozy. The dark green and black background are perfect. The flower really pops. Looks like an upside down lamp shade I have; very soft look; wonderful job. Take care.
