Wow. What a photo Lisa. This is such a great entry for the contest. The details are off the chart. The decision to render in Black and White was artistic genius. I can't remember if I entered this contest but if I have I will be happy with Second place behind this one. Just a wonderful photo Lisa. Kudos ~ Steve

I just love dahlias. The details you captured in the petals are magnified by the black and white rendering. One can almost feel their creamy softness. I like the lighting and the angle of the shot.

Beautifully captured image.
The lighting is spot on.
The contrast and exposure are perfect.
It looks almost like an Ansel Adams image. Quite striking. The petals, you can almost touch them.
Definitely a winning contender.
