He is definitely using his lungs. There is effort showing on his face. This is a good entry for the contest. Showing a glimpse of life from Scotland. Where did the background come from? I see. You used an oil painting filter. Good sharp focus. Nice composition and framing. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
