Great entry for the contest,this would also have been a good one for the Selective Color one too! B&w image has a great retro feel to it.Those bright red stool cushions draw the eye in and leads us down the aisle to the door.Great depth of field and focus,very pleasing to the eye.Best of luck in the contest!

Looks like a bit of a dive. Good effect leaving seats red. Really like the composition, and black and white conversion. Excellent clarity with very good depth of field. I think I might have cloned the two guys out.

An original and striking looking entry into this contest, and I especially like the selective coloring, because this makes the red chairs stand out so well. I also like the perspective creating such fine leading lines.
Your photo is also nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details all over, and the exposure is very good.
The cropping has worked well and with the lightly diagonal placement of the chairs it is a fine balance in the composition. A great looking and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Lovely photo! I want to draw this with pen in the same way you have used photo editing software to emphasize the red stools. Absolutely amazing composition; the slight tilt adds an element of isolation in the almost empty diner. All in all an amazing photo and even better editing skills!

Awesome use of selective coloring! It kind of has the effect of pulling the viewer from the past into the present. The empty seats and clean counter also give it a feeling of 'newness', almost as if opening day 50 years ago suddenly leaped forward to today. Well done!
