I find it just fascinating that most people in this country are still having snow and frost!! While, we here in florida are near boiling to death... today was upper 80s and could not stay in the sun very long.
I love the clarity here as I can see each and ever little ice crystal! Your darker background really allows us to to see these very clearly :)

Thank you! Sorry you guys are boiling to death!! This is the coldest April we have had since 1936. At least the last few snowfalls have been really pretty :)

I can only imagine how lovely it is Grace. We are used to the heat here but got kinda used to having some fronts move down while you guys got pummeled. :)

This is gorgeous and so very well photographed! Perfect focus, nice clear details throughout, it's nature transformed into a beautiful work of art! Well controlled lighting , natural tones in the cattail leaves and perfect whites in the frost! This was a pleasure to view!

Your photo is also pin sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in the plant and the frost. Both the exposure and white balance is perfect.
The square format you have cropped the photo into works well and the plant is well placed within the frame. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo Grace, and with an excellent DOF.
