A beautiful capture of this Greckle, a bird we don't have over here in the UK, taken with great sharp clarity and excellent timing that shows the bird in full mid flight mode, wing(s) outstretched to the maximum and exposing the beautiful and complex colours and patterning of its wings and indeed the full side profile of the whole Greckle, streamlined and with a determined look in its eye as it raises higher up in the air. Cropped neatly in the centre of the image with just a clear blue sky behind to accentuate the subject and really make it pop, a fantastic shot and brilliant entry for the contest - best of luck :)

This is a great photograph of the Grackle. It's so beautiful to see the colors unfold on the wings. It's a simple but very beautiful piece . The bird looks so determined very confident in flight.
