I think you accomplished what you set out to do because that is what I love most about this painting. You can almost feel the water rushing in to the beach and the reflections in it are perfectly portrayed.
Your use of color has really captured these elements of light and texture in your work. I love the appearance of the sand and the soft light on the grass. Beautifully done and best of luck in the contest.

Your waves show grea movement in the water.

Well painted expression of a storm coning onto land. The sea is still calm, but the clouds tell the story in spades. I get the feeling that the tide is high because the plant are so close to the water. Very nice, great colors. Love the variety of blues. Thank you so much for sharing.
