another cool drawing of yours! seems a bit dull, like the background doesnt really make the birds stand out. that probably is an uploading problem! you did an excellent job, thanks for sharing with us.

This traditional art is very interesting. Color contrast of black and white is nice. The shadowing is well balanced. This is well framed. The drawing is very balance to me. faisoft

Lucien...your print of these ducks in flight is very graceful to my eye as I find the design and the contrast of shading to excel. Your drawing is well achieved and understood a while ago with your natural talent many times presented. I am not familiar with the techniques that you used to achieve this print; however, my compliments to your finished art work...excellent. Thank you for sharing your art with me.

redeemer, they are actually pigeons, and the process is the same on used when printing images on t-shirts... as a matter of fact several people think I should offer some of my images on t-shirts... anyway, and always thanks for the time and the continued support... have a safe 4th... cheers... now this is a nice fully integrated piece. the front birds have clear details and impact the frame. it looks to be carefully pulled together and your style of bird drawing is distinct and majestic. nice work! thank you for sharing.

Lucien

I like your birds Lucien- each is in its own rights a potentially good stand alone piece- but you have way too many in this pic. Beyond the busyness - I do like the relational perspective between the birds in the lower sky and the landscape . That alone would have been the picture for me...

Pete, well if you have ever seen a release you'd know this is tame downed version and i disagree, it isn't to busy, as matter of fact it flows, and move your eye from left to right, every bird has a purpose... anyway... thanks you for the time and the support much appreciated... have great 4th and cheers... I like this piece, and I know that it would be time consuming! You show these birds in a wonderful way, every dot seems to have its place and origin, making the image appear much more than just blue ink dots! I value your effort and the long hours and the fun one goes through to get the best shot for posting, well done. I like how the image expresses motion with the forward movement of the wings. This would look even more impressive up close and personal. Thanks for sharing this piece, how long did it take to make? Take care!

Theebelle, the technique is the same one used to print tee shirts... some say I should put some of my image on t-shirts, maybe... anyway; thank you for time and the review, really appreciate both... take care & have a safe 4th... Cheers... lvO

So this is a silk screen print process from start to print and the digitized using a point and shoot camera.

Looks good to me. I do not know the color material you printed on, but the background seems dark. I think it is not due to ink bleed. I see plenty of detail of ink dots making up clouds or sky. The figures look well crafted and detailed. I guess these are turkey vultures or what.

Your composition is filled with stuff. Nice job and thanks for sharing. Phil

Phil, they are the pigs of the skies, or so some would say... they are racing pigeons, being released to start their race home... thanks for the time and the review... really appreciated... take care and have a safe 4th... cheers... LvO
