I might have cropped a tad of the left in this,and shame you cropped its ears etc in this,otherwise this is a real good close up of this deer,good detail in the head...Brian

I am grateful for your interesting review! I did crop on the left but not the ears. The cropping look of the ears was the result of me taking the shot very quickly as the deer looked up.

your welcome,yes guess that's what happened,still do the same myself sometimes,althrough being on here its taught me to look a bit more closely at what I take,so happens a bit less nowadays

This looks like a very young male deer, this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, good storytelling , nice timing to capture him with grass in his mouth. I wish you hadn't clipped his ears and horns.otherwise it's a great capture!
