This is a perfect capture. The sharp captured details of the bird, the fish, the stump and the splashing water are very impressive. The colors look realistic and are exquisitely emphasized by the dark background. The photo is balanced and well framed. I cannot find any flaws.

I love the post you caught here showing the magnificent Blue Heron proudly clutching the fish in his beak. I like the way his wings are stretching upwards, making him look very graceful. Very good lighting and focus. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Nice timing! His wings are listed up to form a V for victory ! He caught his fish! Nice stop f the action, nice show of his motion by the water drops and splashes! Well placed in the frame in the out of center position. Well focused! The image is clear, natural surroundings allowing a sense of this location! Well presented!
