Congratulations on your contest win :) Your horse does have lovely form and shows the take off and landing motion very well. I especially like how the mane is situated and shaded with a lovely windblown appearance.

I really like this for the whimsical nature of it and childhood memories. Tis something out of a children's book, maybe Black Beauty or something similar.
Graphically spot on!
I like the style. It has a bit Gaugin as well as some other 19th century artist.

Well done! I really like the image that you have created here. It looks like something that should be in a story book. You have captured the light shining down on the horse from an implied moon beautifully. I also like the shadows and highlights that you have created on the ground. Such incredible detail and very obvious talent. Thanks for sharing this with us. :)

Welcome back! "Happy landing!" I only joined the site last summer; had a lot of trouble getting locked out of it for over a month and thus missed my contests and the password they sent me was to some site that wasn't mine but strangely enough had had my Facebook password lol... things are smoother now... Do you have horses? Australia used to be a great horse breeding country I understand. I always wanted to go there to admire the wildlife and native horses but never have been able to...Daphne Oberon

Very well arranged against the purple tones in the background, the cactus plants act as framing as well as giving a sense of this warm location. Well created and arranged! Well presented!
