This is a stunning scene Chris, and I especially like the fine shine you have captured in the water. It looks like it was made of hammered silver. I especially like the contrast between the silvery sea, and the more golden sky, and the surf board rider is standing out in an excellent way.
The photo is also sharp and the exposure is spot on. It is of course the light doing this photo more than anything.
The format and framing is very good and the surfer has got a perfect placement in the most shiny part of the sea. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

This scene is beautiful with the dark clouds and the late afternoon sun reflecting on the bottom of the clouds and surface of the ocean. The lone paddle boarder seems to have the world to himself.

This is fabulous love the subject and theme of that lone rower out there in the ocean, fabulous light and colours especially in that wonderful sky! Great reflections and highlights in the water my sort of image and location! great contest entry!

This scene is very nice, although we barely see the guy it makes us think how massive the world is,,those clouds are magnificent. Great day to be doing what he is doing, and you got a great shot
