Black magic! This is a spectacular photo. Black is so difficult to photograph, but you have mastered the technique and also revealed Krueger's gentle personality. Looks like a winner to me!

a wonderful exemple Annie of a successful low key photography; not at all familiar with mixed media, I'm just looking at the results;
perfect framing, sharp focus and excellent control of exposure for the black "color".

Beautiful portrait photograph of Krueger, nice pose and with a dark background and soft light behind really helps this photo. Natural colors and tones in the scene. Good lighting, nice detail, sharp focus, good DoF, and well balanced photo and nicely composed in the frame. Overall, a very Beautiful Portrait Photograph, well done!
