Hi Steve, Love the beautiful scenic view of this ocean sunset! the Title of you image and the poem that goes with it truly describe God's magical creation... One only sees true magic when you do not look at all. Just had to give you a six for letting me meld with you image and enjoy the Heavenly Light! :o) Nancy

I like the angle you used for this with the rocks in the foreground taking the viewer's eye to the horizon with the glorious colours emanating from the sun. The gold draws the eye. Very good lighting and focus. Excellent composition. Suzanne

You know, you got the "eye", and patience. This is absolutely beautiful. Love the placement of the land masses in the ocean and that distant mountain on one side. It kind of creates an archipelago effect setting under the last flash of light before dark takes over. Reasons for my five star vote.

Since I spent many years on boats and on an uninhabited desert island, I used to pay a lot of attention to "red sky at morning sailor take warning, red sky at night, sailor's delight. Hopefully this almost magma sky overlooking the quiet seascape actually is a sunset, though something about it makes me think morning. The quiet before a storm. I actually like certain storms, such as thunderstorms in the tropics, even hurricanes in natural areas, but not towns and cities! I dessert areas they clean up everything, smoothing away the footprints and scars on the land, making everything look new and fresh and ready for a new cycle to begin. Kind of a rebirth..... Thanks for sharing!
