Steve, this is just stunning! The moss has a painterly affect. The movement has individual strokes. Are you going Van Gogh on me? The rocks seem to be covered with a green tapestry of nature. Would love to see you do more images that incorporates these elements!

Wow. Thank you so much Kurt. This was just beautiful green seaweed or more likely String Algae. I loved the color and the way the water that washed over the rocks made the algae 'Flow". I did do a bit of enhancement to make it look a bit more artistic in its flow pattern (shhhhh?.that is between you and me Kurt). I shot several rocks like this. I am working on a couple of others. Hope they turn out well. Thank you so much for your great review and Over The Top Rating Kurt. Very much appreciated and encouraging my friend ~ Steve

Wow. Thank you So Much Tootie for your wonderful review and More than Grand rating. I am honored. I loved the look of this seaweed or String Algae s it took on a flowing pattern due to the water washing over it. It took on an abstract look I thought. I am so glad you liked it Tootie. Thank you again ~ Steve

Steve, you got another amazing shot! It looks like a piece of abstract art! Pleasure to view the shades of green color. It helps to relax and think. Nicely cropped and adjusted, this photo is a total success! Very creative! Thanks for being awesome!

    Hey Lucas,

Thanks for your Very Cool review. I too thought it had an abstract look as the green filaments flowed as the water washed over the rock. I loved the green color that seemed surreal. Thank you again Lucas for your grand review and commentary ~ Steve

Your close-up is interesting. I assume this area is under water at high tide. It is amazing how those seaweeds cling to the rock. The photo is excellent focused and treated with mixed media. The details are sharp and refined and the colors are realistic. I like your POV. The downward angle is interesting. The seaweeds seem to resemble how the water streams down. The mixed media is perfectly framed. The composition is balanced.

Thank you very much Cleo. The water was washing over the rocks a little while earlier leaving the seaweed looking like flowing green filaments. Thank you again Cleo for your review and support ~ Steve

This is how nature paints , it's beautiful and fascinating to study, I love the green tones in the seaweed and the precise way that it grows on the rocks.
Well photographed with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones are beautiful and appear natural.
Well composed and presented!
There is so much beauty to be found , we need to open our eyes and really see it!
Best wishes to you in this contest!
