Wow... under microscope! The clarity is your winning attribute in this piece! Love the analogous colors in this photo, too! The details are such a wow factor, and I love being able to see the very delicate wing structure of the Hoverfly. The composition is appealing to the eye! Beautiful work!!

Your macro is excellent focused and exposed. The sharpness and refinement of detail are outstanding. Even the vines at the transparent wings are visible while the yellow color of the flower shines through. The colors are realistic. The insect is perfectly placed within the frame. The diagonal presentation pleases the equilibrium of the viewer and warrants a good balance of the composition.

Those insects can be terribly annoying 'out in the field' on a warm Summer afternoon but your colorful picture of this one makes it look rather 'angelic'! : )
