Thanks so much Mike! I am honored by your six star rating! We were down in Homer/ Anchor Point, didn?t feel the quake, but got a tsunami warning while we were there, however it was cancelled after a short time.

A fantastic picture of this Bald Eagle flying low over the beach the tips of it's wings on a down beat outspread like finger on a hand. The Colour of the pebbles & sand on the beach making a beautiful contrasting backdrop for the Eagle. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A fantastic picture of this Bald Eagle flying low over the beach the tips of it's wings on a down beat outspread like finger on a hand. The Colour of the pebbles & sand on the beach making a beautiful contrasting backdrop for the Eagle. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Love it! Great stop action you have captured here. I agree with you...I love the wing position. Placed perfectly in the frame with room to fly forward. Beautiful sharp focus on the eye. Just so nice!

This is an excellent stop-in-action. The eagle looks straight forward. It seems that the bird follows some pay. The photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I am impressed by the sharpness and refinement of detail and the realism of color. The fly-pose is appealing. The downward wings allow us an excellent observation of the wings and the head. The spread plums are especially interesting. The Eagle is perfectly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Such focus of the eagle stare and great subject placement in the picture. The eagle looks like it is plowing through the air. I have not seen a picture such as this before. It is not only beautiful, but it displays the power of the bird. Very nice indeed. Reasons for my five star vote.

Wow...what a shot of this magnificent bird. I like that there is nothing other than this amazing bird in the photo! And, yes, the wings are so interesting. Many of the photos of eagles that I have seen, the wings are outstretched as they are in flight. This is so unique...nature at its best!!
