I like your whimsy. Amazing what you can do with a pen. I feel a special kinship to the mouse. He has personality. They all have personality. My ducky too. However, it looks like he has 4 legs. You must have had two colors of pen or how did you get the two shades?

Hi Mark, Now I know what the emergeny was and I hope your friend recovers from the accident well!!!! Sending prayers for thier recovery! :o) You might think I'm crazy as what I see in this, but I see a LOT of emotion going one here. Your flower is not the ususally happy flower I see you do. The face shows the worry you experienced. The eyes show that! The smile is one you show people when you're trying to be be in happy mode. I see the mouse as the wonderful optimistic view you always give the artists here and what you needed there.. The cat is stedfast in not giving up at all. The fairy is the touch of faith. The chicken...I have no idea! :o)The blue pen represents the feeling of the blues. I know the blue pen was all you had but it refects the feelings here well. Would I have seen this image differently if I didn't know the situation behind it? I have a way of feeling things and these are the vibes I got! I think it captures what you were feeling at the time. To me your feelings were captured in this image! It's not surprising they would be! I could be off, but these feelings were what I felt and I thought you'd like to know how I read the image! this is so very cool and a great way to produce a piece of your unique art. yes it's fun and the lack of colour is no distraction from the humour and your fine technique. truly awesome in all ways.

This is an incredible piece all done with that pen! The funnie flower smiles as it pops out in front of all those tiny leaves, the little mouse stands bravely next to the cat, mouse is leaning on the pen, cat has an evil expression on its face, some type of a chicken sits back from the cat and I like that little fairy in flight. Well created full page of awesome detail. I sincerely hope your friend is okay ! Well presented!
