A very fine shot. The detail in the plumage is extraordinary and the way he has his tail bent forward is eye catching. A great shot that should do well in this contest. Good luck.

You were really lucky to get a photo of this sweet hummingbird posing for you like this, and it is truly great to see the tail feathers of this bird in this way. You have captured the shiny eye so well, and I also think the light is falling on the bird in such a lovely way.
The bird is standing out sharp and well defined against the softened green background, and it is clear details to be seen in its feathers. The exposure is spot on.
The format and framing is perfect, and the tree stump with the bird has got a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF,
Sorry that I have used all my 6 stars ratings, because a photo like this deserves a higher rating.
