This afterglow of sunset over the Matanuska River is a treat for the eyes. You've captured a certain ambience that would not be seen at just any time. It tells a story of the importance of solitude and believing for the best as we wait. What time of day was this?
I enjoy seeing the golden wildflowers and what appear to be bushes throughout the scene. I would call this one, Harmony. It stirs poetry in me. If that happens, it's good stuff right there. ;)

Wow! Nice shot here Pat!! I really love the warmth of the sky reflected in the water. The flowers on the ground seem to glow as well. The clouds stand out nicely. I would have granted you a six, except the sloping edge of the mountain doesn't seem quite natural. Otherwise a six for sure. The mountain is nicely balanced with the rock to the right on the forground. Beautiful colours. Thanks for sharing.

Wow wow wow, your position and frame is again unique and special as you show us the entire region in such a difference due to the after sunset moment - every single detail is well placed iin your combination choice, your angle and position is excellent -the colors are unique and the initial impact is fantastic - well seen, and well presented again, great job

Wow, Pat, that afterglow has really changed that river and landscape into a fall color wonderland. You have such a great eye for seeing and capturing this at the perfect time. Plus, as always, your composition is impeccable with excellent leading lines and total spatial balance. Superb!

This picture is so beautiful. It could easily be a painting. That is a beautiful area and you have captured it well with the fading sun glow. If I am remembering correctly, that valley is known for the produce grown there.
