A very fine shot. Although they are generally listed as "poisonous" there is a history of them having been used by indigenous people in rituals. This one is a beauty.

What a beautiful mushroom! The light is just right, showing the beauty of the colors in a darker setting. It looks as if someone placed the little white specks on it! Wonderful picture!

A beautiful picture of this Amanita Muscaria Toad stool bathed in a sunbeam the only thing missing is a Gnome sitting under it! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

Beautiful red, spotted mushroom, no doubt poisonous because it is so bright. We have had rain for some two weeks now and my garden is sprouting mushrooms all over the place, some bright yellow variety and a very large head snow white variety. When I was teaching in China, the supermarkets used to have a whole counter of different mushrooms, I had never seen so many till then.
