I love filtered light - whether it be through a leaf as you have so lusciously portrayed or through glass, water, ice or thinly sliced fruit it always catches my eye.

Your composition is gorgeous. This shade of red makes a statement loud and clear. The leaf details are well visualized along the center line of the frame. Background bokeh enhances the center giving the frame some pop. Attention to detail compositional framing gives the limited color palette improved range.
