I don't think Tigger looks angry at all. He is actually a rather cute cat, and I especially like that he was looking at you when this photo was taken. You indeed captured his shiny green eyes well. The cat is also standing out well from the background, but I think the brightness above his head is a bit distracting. If possible I think I would try to darken this area.
The photo is however nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details in the fur and the face, and the all over light is fine.
The tight cropping has worked well, and the cat has got a fine placement within the frame. All together I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Jodi, and I wish you luck with the contest.
