A great closeup of a very handsome jay! I actually would not know it was a jay -- i would think it was a bluebird as I am used to jay's having a tuft on the head. This is a lovely looking bird! A great shot! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much, I am glad that you liked this shot! Stellar Jays are the ones with the feathery tuft on their heads. We have those here too but sightings are rare!

The bird is perfectly placed within the frame , it steps forward from the soft and dreamy background , it has posed beautifully for you ! Spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear, exposure is perfect, colors and tones appear natural, well defined detail over every part of this gorgeous bird! Look at that clear face , beak and the all important eye ! Look at the feather detail ! Wow!
I must say this is one of the finest images I have seen ! This could easily be in a magazine all about birds!
