This is indeed a beautiful rose Cleo, and I especially like the closeness. I also like a lot the color pallet you have used with the hues of the background similar to the dark shadows on the rose.
It is great textures to be seen both in the background and the petals of the rose, and you have indeed used high lights well. This painting is also done paying such a good attention to details.
The tight framing and the format is perfect, and I also like the placement of the rose off to the left. I think this is a truly lovely and well done digital painting.

A special fower with ut this time I am asking myself if you cut the original creation off or if this was the normal original frame choice
