Pat, what a cute little bird that is all fluffed in order to stay warm.
The colors and details are so nicely presented with diffused background. Thank you for sharing, my friend.

This little chickadee is so cute with the ruffled up feathers. I guess that it was windy that day. I especially like the mist and the monochrome color of the background, and of course also how well the bird is standing out from it.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in the feathers of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped, and the bird has got a fine placement within the frame. It is a sweet and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Nice shot of an interesting little fellow fluffed up against the morning chill. When I lived in Missouri, the chickadees were the bravest. I had one that would wait for me each morning. When I left the house with my pail of seeds, he jumped in and rode with me to fill the feeders. Nor afraid at all. We do not have them down here in South Florida.

What a beautiful little fella :) I like the selected color effect, makes it stand out more against the background, and it creates a contrast between the warm and cold. I love the bokeh, like frosty smoke, and the sharpness on the bird is perfect. Very nice job!

HI Pat,
Extra fine take on a young Chickadee losing its baby down. These little guys are always about and always hungry. I have several that empty their feeder each day.
Your usual fine photographic skill is well displayed. The colors appear natural and have not been been compromised.
Lighting, contrast, and focus are perfect for the subject. Your dryer vent has given you a beautiful bokeh that compliments the bird.
The eye and all other facial features are sharp and clear, the eye lids around the eye are visible and sharp edged - Kudos.
Good work, for these little guys are quick ... Bob

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that pretty bird, twisting around to see what is happening. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well taken.
