Excellent tonal variations creating nice perspectives, highlights & shadows.
Impressive rendition of this square-jawed model with strong facial features & broad forehead.
Indeed, it looks antiquated with its yellow coloration.
Fine details.
Excellent rendering, focusing & framing.

Your work is really extraordinary, and always so intricate and detailed as it gives the accurate feeling of the individual you are drawing. Your pencil drawings are exceptional, and your work reflects a genuine excellent in style and technique. This is very well done. A pleasure to view.

Wonderful technique. Like the shadows, the sharp line but soft lines in her cloths, the detail in her face. Thank you for sharing

And as always this is an amazing work. Love the facial expression, the perfect lighting, and the soft texture of the skin. The melancholic gesture and the sad eyes. Great job, superb.

Another amazing drawing. Pencil? Really? You are awesome. I'm so jealous of your talent. This model from an era gone by is stunning and you've captured her essence beautifully! She looks as if she is just being tolerant for the photographer but is daydreaming of a place she would much rather be. Well done.

Again, stunning!! You are an incredible talent being able to draw freehand like this and capturing the pose and expression of this young woman. I also appreciate your notes which give your work added impetus for the viewer.

Thank you for looking into my portfolio, and addressing my work. This is one of my first drawings. I remember sitting in my car on my lunch breaks at Safeway and drawing on this. I didn't know what I was doing, but I played it by ear. Somehow it all worked out. Art is magical.

Incredible.
I have been in the same exact situation as this young girl. I was 19 though....Let's just say that I ended up paying for my portfolio with "Cash"...And I was treated very unfairly after that.
This piece has so much meaning and you have caught every ounce of it . Thank you so much Linda for showing this. Every square inch is perfect....
I wish I could give you a 10...but I guess that's what the 6 is for.
