Really like the presentation of this one. Very interesting objects used for this. Good placement. Good light and dark areas. Like the pattern in the background wallpaper. Feathering of flowers in the vase works well also. Good attention to details bringing forth articles from the past. Tone of painting is great for this.

Overall pretty well done. Good job on getting the feel of an old black and white photo. It might be just a little bit too grainy, though, and the bottle in the center gets lost a little bit by mixing a little too well with the background.

The way you have edged this give the viewer the feeling of peeking through time to a distant past scene - thus the use of color choice is perfect - in harmony with the technology of the day. I really like what you have done with this mixed meia presentation. I like best that you were able to combine actual photos with digital painting to create this piece. The mood within is awesome. A very real feeling of an age gone by comes across beautifully. Impact comes from the very strong contrast presented. I enjoyed the compositional diagonal that is created between the photo and the vase. The border work is a very cool touch. A pleasure to view.

Very attractive digital painting. I loved the sepia and the bordering. The fact it tells a story of a couple that once lived a long time ago, or family members if not couple. The books and the vase etc match this scenerio and it almost has a very wonderful history behind this. Well presented.
