Super capture ; very dynamic and showing the great amount of energy in the air at the moment. Nice sky, nice colors and good focus under conditions. I hope you made it through alright.

Thank you so much for your generous review. Yes, we made it through. Ike never touched us directly. These 35mph was the most we got from the winds. Not more then some broken branches. The Storm surge toke a bike out of our beach and sadly destroyed many turtle nests but in relation to the pass of destruction the hurricane left we were very lucky. Thanks for asking.

You can almost feel the winds with this photo. Great golden color from the sun on the beach and trees. The sky is almost glowing. Really good journalism. Nice photo.

This is wonderfull shot, I wonder if you were stable on your feet while taking this photograph as i can see the power of the wind the way its taking the tree with it, lovely lighting and dark contrast along with perfect composition. All the best for contest. :)

Thank you very much. Yes I was stable on my feet. It was only 35 mph [about 60km]. I have to admit that I toke advantage of the circumstances. These palm trees are not newly blown over but grow that way. They survived several storms. The the are always in the wind.
Thanks for your good wishes. :)
