This is beautifull piece of mixmedia, if you hadn't mention that you have applied filters, i wouldn't believe or know that its a photograph :) Very nicely done, lovely details and the brush strokes, gives a real painting look. Well done and pleasure viewing it. All the best for the contest.

Absolutely exquisite! It looks alot like an original artwork in some unusual medium like ceramic, laquer or paint on metal. The blooms are soft, free-flowing in form and done in a great variety of beautiful colors so they really pop. They seem to have a good bit of texture or dimension to the blooms.

This is GREAT. It reminds me very much of a tapestry. The textures you have created with your brush strokes really work for this and make it so rich. Great colors. I like the way the pretty flowers are bright coming down into the darker area, like a beam of sunshine. Beautifully shaped hummingbird. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful work. This is very good Cleo. It has a really stained glass effect. I like all the bright colors throughout! These would definitely be colors and flowers the hummingbird would be attracted to. I especially like the green and orange on the wings.

Thank you Lynsey, for your generous review. The sun catchers were made with stained glass, the light effect in the original photos were created by a street lamp but I helped with the colors.
