Interesting as you've done the picture without the full face.Over indulgent eyes but like this effect-almost like a fish-eye camera lens. I like the touch of sky too

I find this to be a unique painting in the fact that you have done a closeup profile of the eyes mostly for this shot. Y our detail has come out well. Good with the colours and the use of the acrylics has presented this well.

I like the angle and the closeness of this composition. The eyes are very well done with depth and variations that work. I wonder if a couple fixes would just finalize this perfectly - a few more stray and out of order hairs on the mane - messy it up a bit. Also the eyelashes - are they moving in the right direction - or maybe they are lined up just so. Hope these ideas make sense to you. I quite like how you created either the folds of skin - or if this is a vein that is showing under his skin. Nicely done, and best wishes for the contest.
