A beautiful image, just stunning. The angle of composition showing the rocks in the foreground with just enough of the wet sand and gentle swells of the water, the ribbon of sunlight reflecting off the wet sand back to the horizon, and the golden sky with the sun just ready to go behind the clouds. Something I noticed is that the same golden light is on the side of your face in your profile photo. Sandy

Thank you so much for your throuought and poetic review. I think you mean 'Summer wind" mention the portrait photo. Yes there is a similar light in the background photo but the photo is not taken on the same day. We have this light in the morning [and evening] when the clouds are just right. The tropics are known for it. You are also right, I have this light in several of my pictures. I love it and can't get tired of looking at it, painting it and photographing it.

Beautiful. Such warm colors, the lighting is so nice, I like the was sunlight shimmers on the water. The dark rock anchors the photo and gives the photo depth. Nice detail noted in photo. Good focus. Very nice. Good luck

Initial impact is good as well as center of interest. I like this photo but I think it is too dark and doesn't show the details enough. Focus is good and would be a good story to tell. I like the way the sun is just twinkling through the sky to illuminate the water.

Sorry it isn't your kind of picture, but the detail less darkness is shown intentional as even mentioned in the title [Dark and Mysterious]. I didn't want show a land/sea scape in detail but a mood, a emotion this golden light in the darkness inflicted at least in me, the mystery nature still has for us.
