I wouild say it meets the contest rquirements and is very creative. Should do well.
Your combination and work on the stars paid off. Well done I like the silohette. wish the star cluster was bigger so the entire hand had an nice contrasting edge on it.

Thank you Jim, I appreciate your review and the wishes very much. I have to admit that the hand was fully outlined with light in my first version but somehow it didn't feed what I wanted to say: Reaching for the stars but not quite there jet, So I took some of the light away.

Very nicely done! We all are reaching for the stars and as a photographer you show the magic you found within yourself. I think this is a GREAT self-portrait of who you are and the feelings you want to pass on.

I like it - it is captivating to the eye.
Initial impact: dark, but with a closer look and enlargement was able to get the picture
Creativity of presentation: Darks necessary to highlight the stars and hand
Color Harmony: I like the star light on the pinky finger
Center of Interest: that same star exploding from the behind he pinky finger
Technical Excellence: above average
Technique: unable to tell no experience with mix media
Story Telling Ability: Dreamer - reaching for the heavens - hoping and praying and needing a wish to come true
Lighting: overall effect of spiritual oneness with the heavens

Ooh awe...pretty....ooo
