Were you there on vacation or do you live close by? This is my neck of the woods. I like the use of black and white photography. I can tell the sun is shining from some of the shadows. Very nice.

I live about 10 miles from Owensboro Kentucky, the western end of the state. Cumberland falls is about 5 hours away. We like to go there once in a while.

Great view with a wonderful center of interest in this image. I love the rock and water, but I hate that the river looks so incredibly low. Good DOF and sharpness. The lighting is a bit harsh and the sky is a touch blow out.

This is a very nice image shooting up stream.
I don't understand the choice to make the image B&W, but then again it is not my image so my aesthetic point of view is irrelevant.
Also in future I'd like to see the falls. If you have the time. Waterfalls are one of my favorite things.
This image has still flat water, and that means that there reflections of the surroundings. As you can see. But as a B&W image you miss out on a lot of what is being reflected.
To me the balance, and composition, both are well tended.
The focus is good and encompasses the entire frame.
The light works well.
I see a creative imagination.
As well as a high level of technical excellence.
Also I see a high level of sophistication in the overall appearance of this image.
I believe that this image carries a high capacity for story telling
Thank You for sharing,

Thank you so much. This is Cumberland Falls state park, it is the falls you see in the background. Yes it is always a lot of people here, all year long, especially summer and fall. It is a beautiful place. This is about 75 miles north of the great smoky mountain national park . Go to Google & type in cumberland falls.

I will do that- thanks for direction-' it is a lovely spot- I may have been there years ago-I know I visited the the great smokey mountain national park-

Very nice shot. Good angle, you probably got your feet wet. All the lines lead right to the center and makes one want to go see what's there. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like your a bit short of water on this river Willie, I used to live on a river like this in Portugal. When the mountain snows melted it used to get up to 35ft deeper. Nice Picture.
