Good story. 'Know what you mean about patience. LOL. Nice capture of the eggs and feathers. Good background with a touch of light back there. The eggs are perfectly white. Like how the feathers have a touch of beige to them. Has that questions ever been answered? I give you a cyber 6. 'Enjoyed.

I like the reflection in the mirror. The think the eggs are a bit bright and over exposed. I like the addition of the feathers and the reflection of them so the composition is nice.

Initial Perception: good question - light or darkness
Emotionally Charged: Yes, the predominant use of black eggs, symbolic of the absence of light adds suspense and mystery to the piece, the predominant use of white eggs fertility and newness of life - the feathers - tickle tickle tickle or a chicken having a bad feather day
Title: fits
Artist Notes: informative
Creativity: Artist sees outside of the egg crate box to achieve uniqueness
Color Harmony: colors are intense and have values that provoke a feeling of apprehension and tension and wonder what the chicks will look like
Center of Interest: the three dimensional value
Technique (difficulty): artist confidence shows through work of art well balanced
Category: Correctly posted
Story Telling Ability: The dark and light values unleash a sense of good verses evil
What Works Well? Opposing colors, balanced in frame, lighting, three white eggs and two black -- good always prevails
Comments: superb piece of work

Personally I think the rooster was first and the hen cleaved from the rooster's rib. maybe not.

I love this, as I love chickens.

The feathers are soft and downey and the eggs perfectly white and well shaped. Look like 'large' to me just a guess.

Thank you very much. But the rooster could not have been the first. It must have neen the hen

Rea The old testament....it was a play on that.

I have read the old testament, and the new. I am afraid I am not a believer. Perhaps agnostic

Don't get stressed Annie, I have exactly the same problem. Now I write out my notes in Notepad first then just cut and paste the whole lot over.

This is a nice photograph, clear and sharp. Clever idea. They look good on the dark surface and I like the reflection behind.
It would have been a good contest entry.

Quite original, I love the use of feathers and the slight reflection on the back drop. Perhaps a bit too bright to see contour, but very nice picture.
