You have captured the feel of the first camp and continued it on in this one. I know a lot has to do with the weather, but it is hard to imagine these places as ever being pretty or scenic. Nice job.

I new as soon as I read the words on this picture that I had made a big mistake on my last review. I have read a lot on WWII and know this picture well. Very nicely taken and the cold look to it with the snow sets the scene well. You have captured German History at its saddest hour. Well taken
and thanks for reminding us. Pat G

This is a beautiful shot of a terrible place. Just looking at your shot makes my heart heavy.
The colors are very nice and natural. Focus is very good. You did an amazing job in such terrible conditions. Thanks for sharing.

I know how I must remember I am reviewing your shot not history.

The lighting is well controlled with your exposure. It has good sharpness in spite of the snow.

Thanks for sharing with us this piece.

This is a very sad time in history. I am glad that these places are still there. I like the use of black and white with just a touch of color. It lends to the mood of the time. I am glad you are chronicling this time in history. Overall picture 5.

Another great thought provoking photo Annie. Well caught in the front gate here. Good detail and focus again. Lovely snow. Artists notes are very informative and greatly recieved. Its heartbreaking to think what people suffer. Well caught shot

I do not think I will comment on the artistry of this photograph other than to say I think it very good. It is of course the subject that you have chosen to present to us that is so moving and powerful and I think you have done this in an extremely sensitive way. I have not had the opportunity to visit Auschwitz but have been to a concentration camp in Austria and found the experience extremely emotional. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all. Catherine

I applaud you for going, sharing this photo and text with us about the terrible atrocities endured by so many people. I find it very difficult to comment in a manner that conveys "good", great, and such. this is well seen and captured. Thank you.
